Thought last Friday a loan deal was some 95% agreed,but everything has gone very quiet. Are we still in for him,either as a loan or permanent signing,does anyone know ?

Yes chelski have only got 8 forwards on the books it might leave them a little short ! We did offer them a loan deal but but they could not believe we were serious after Bamford.

Take Bony, superb at Swansea and prized away by Man City only to be a relative bit part player whose sale value and with it kudos has plummeted. Surely at 29 he still has a lot to offer but I suppose a p**s poor re-sale which must be putting a lot of clubs off or else he would have been snapped up by now. Actually Benteke should really be in this category which, come to think of it is slightly worrying but would like to think that Mr P knows what he is doing and can polish the diamond?

Bony has several seasons fewer left than Benteke. Any polishing with Bony will soon fade. If he was available cheaply I'd have been more interested, but as he isnt, I'm not.
