Why does everyone suddenly thing he's leaving? Because there's a transfer window on and whenever there's a transfer window on every sports journalist in Christendom gets paid wodges to make up totally bulls*** Wilf stories to sell papers and get clicks on spurious websites filled with advertising. And Spurs try to use the situation to try to manipulate us into selling him for a price that doesn't make their eyes water and him into sitting on their bench watching the likes of Son, Eriksson and Dele Alli.
