| Kenny Sansom has always been my favourite player. Notable mentions go to: Don Rogers; Vince Hilairs; Wilf Zaha; John Jackson; Nigel Martyn, Peter Taylor; Geoff Thomas; Ian Wright; Mark Bright; Mike Elwiss (all to brief a career); Steve Kember; Gareth Southgate; AJ; Dougie Freedman; John Sewell and, because he just had a great personality Alan Birchenall. My favourites today are: Jonny Williams; Joel Ward; Jedi; Speroni; Bannan and Chamakh.

| I'll put a vote in for Darren Ambrose. Just seemed to be pretty loyal during a time where things weren't going so well. And provided a few glimmers of excitement along the way. Not trying to champion him as some kind of amazing footballer, but he was decent and a medium sized fish in a (and I say this with no disrespect intended) pretty small pond. I'm talking last 10 years by the way.

| Darren Ambrose. What a player for us at such a $hit time to support the club.

| Good point: Ambrose was an oasis of hope in a desert of disaster...
