No one can say if the original charge is true or not. What can be stated however is that Christine Blasey Ford has made plenty of iffy statements and probably lied about a fear of flying. Personally I think she is a willing stooge for the democrats. Of course she is. It's so obvious that I'm amazed people can't see straight through it.

I have to say i'm perplexed by this sideshow. She's clearly a bright articulate person, who has waited all these years to mention anything (ok no big deal), only to then come out and essentially to say no more than he held his hand over her mouth at which point she 'thought' she would be raped... Now, to me this smacks of someone that has been coerced into bringing this up and she's being used as a pawn in a politically charged game. It also brings into question as to whether (now that people have been encouraged to come out with their stories) that there should be a statute of limitations on further claims that can go back no further than say 20years. As leaving it any longer clearly addles the memory!

Spoke to a feminist lady friend about this. She started work in the 1960's looking back she can't believe the amount of times she was groped or patted on the bum. In those days it was normal and she didn't even think about it. Will she complain to the police about these historic transgressions? No. The the world has moved on and most people today agree this behaviour is unacceptable. In other words women have won the right to be treated with respect so what is the point in dragging up male attitudes from 40-50 years ago. Fight the battles that need to be fought today. Would she complained if she was a young woman today and it happened, too right after she had kicked him in the balls first.
