I've heard it all now! Oh, and The UK's second biggest selling CD of all time? Abba Gold. (Not that they are my favourite but you can't argue with the stats.)

Actually, you can argue with stats. If you equate 'popularity' with quality, then EastEnders, Strictly, Bake Off, James Corden and Miranda would represent the acme of artistic achievement. Please don't tell me that, for you, they do.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Removing some commas makes a programme that I would watch though:

Eastenders strictly bake off James Corden and Miranda.

I saw Phil Collins when he was "just the drummer" in Genesis at the Greyhound in Croydon. Very soon after, Genesis became a relatively popular prog-rock band.
Collins seemed to completely change his style of drumming once he became more commercial; in Genesis he'd been quite technical & prog-rockish, but in the commercial stuff he completely changed to the "In the Air Tonight" heavy-handed style.
Anyone else remember Sunday night gigs at The Greyhound? I saw Dr Feelgood there and a Scottish band called Glencoe that were always put in if a band cancelled- rather like a supply teacher, and like supply teachers, it often didn't go well for them.

I remember the Greyhound but not who I saw there. Found this interesting link to set lists for bands at the venue.

So sisagen can mean something else, but a couple must be 2. Ok, have it your way.

Abba appreciation society (not that I exactly subscribe to it) is steadily emerging , based if anything on fact alone. No:2 behind Queen in British long player CD sales alone certified.

Abba 'nother go, ye of little faith....

AC/DC (Back in Black) Is the worlds second biggest selling album, after MJs "Thriller". ABBA is the UKs second biggest.

Try this live clip from 3 sides live Michaela.

It is fanfcukingtastic.

Phil shares the drumming with Chester Thompson... awesome combo.

Phil's singing is powerful and is perfectly complemented by Tony Bank's keyboards and Mike Rutherford's guitar work.
