Are there degrees of blackness? At what point can someone call themselves black? Native American tribes often have a formula / percentage / threshold before you can be a member of the tribe. This is largely to do with sharing in the wealth of the tribe e.g. Casino earnings. It all gets very confusing to sad old gammon like me I'm a Heinzer.

Edited by Badger11 (14 Jul 2021 7.41am) It's kind of funny that if you have any black heritage you automatically get called black. Obama was half black, half white, yet appeared to disown his white heritage. I have no issue with that as it's for the individual to self identify but it seems to be a common theme. If we choose to believe people to any extent on the channel Tom was to some degree mixed. I saw no reason to disbelieve him just as I believe him when he says his missus is Jewish. Tom doesn't come across as dishonest and shots from the hip.

I saw a Willo style plate southbound on the A24 a few weeks back, from memory a mid sized SUV. Driving very sensibly I may add
