Friend of mine recovered the 77 bodies from the ruins of that block - and identified them all. Somethings are bigger than politics, right wing or left wing, things like Grenfell transcends political agendas.

Whether that could ever be the case is debatable. Grenfell is an exceptional event it has to be said.

There is a huge difference between a builder knowingly using sub standard materials and one that confirms to the current laws. Of course I have no idea what the truth is but even if the builders are liable that may not be the fault of the council. The HMO was responsible for Grenfall. Sadly I suspect that the inquiry will find that the regulations are rubbish the inspections are rubbish the HMO didn't do its job and the council did not have proper over site over the HMO.
