Steve is fine, but for a big athletic guy he could come out more for crosses, maybe he will when we get a regular back four and they all know what to expect from each other.

The original poster seems to be an obvious troll, I can't believe people are biting so hard. For the record, Mandanda is brilliant - he is a steal, and one of the best players in our starting 11. Anyone that thinks Hennessey comes even close is having a laugh.

Firstly I think Mandanda is a good keeper who is still adjusting to the PL. Hr also hasn't done anything to deserve being dropped. However it is interesting to see peoples justifications Defence all at sea with WH in goal, they don't trust him Defence all at sea with SM in goal, he hasn't had a settled defence. As with when WH was in goal, I happen to think that a keeper is one of those positions that you have to stick with the player unless their confidence is shot. WH didn't pull up any trees last season but he was nowhere near as poor as people on here make out. Equally, Mandanda hasn't pulled up any trees either but doesn't deserve a thread suggesting he should be dropped. Look at Souare, before his accident people thought he should be dropped and we should have upgraded. Now he is Roberto Carlos. People seem so quick to change their opinion based on individual errors or acts of brilliance, sometimes you need to take a longer more pragmatic view
