Telegraph reporting we have Arouna Kone on a 6 month loan deal. We already have Remy on loan so wouldn't now be able to get Sakho due to premier league clubs only being allowed 2 loans per side

Kone is still on a contract with Everton so doubt it'll be a free. If it is though then i'd happily take him. Then Sakho on a loan with option to buy in the summer. 20Million in January will be around 12 in August.

Makes sense for Everton to let Kone go on a free, as it is in effect a loan deal for them as he only has 6 months left on his contract. If they don't see a future for him at the club then if they let him go for free means Palace pick up his wages for the last 6 months of his contract as he would be released in the summer anyway. Which means we could get Sakho on loan.

I read elsewhere as well that what we are doing is taking over his existing terms for the last six months of his Everton contract. So he is a free, not a loan. He has no value to Everton as he won't play in the next six months so us taking over his contract suits them.
