I know Blackwater. Drive through it quite often. Have had a drink or two in the Red Lion on occasions.
Will give it a miss this Christmas though as I really don't want to encounter any irresponsible super spreaders out for a good time.
You know nothing pal, come and have a beer!!

Just a heads up for those in the borough of Bromley.
My GP friend has been informed that there has been a spike:
"There has been an increased incidence in covid cases in Bromley this week and particularly this weekend. It seems that young people and children are affected most and the majority have mild-to-moderate cases. This is good for herd immunity, of course. However, just for all older people ( not old, just older than 25 😊 : please be aware to be careful when around children/young people of 25 and under. This includes shopping during school collection times as well..."
That's going to spread to chiselhurst swanley orpington and surrounding right out to pratt's bottom. Clearly a reason kent is in teir 3. Maybe these scientists arnt so dumb with their projections.!

Kent is 80 miles down to the coast isn’t it? Still no reason to put the whole county into tier 3.

Bromley is next door to Croydon though. Nothing to say it wont go that way. That being the case surrey could get itself an upgrade!

It won't come as a surprise to some of you, but I'm going to reveal that I attended the above yesterday. Now before you pass judgement and point the finger and say it's because of people like me and my behaviour that we're in this 2nd lockdown ( it's not the first one of these I've gone to but the 3rd since the end of Sept.) try and look at it from my PoV. I believe trying to raise awareness of the tyranny, stripping of rights and emergence of a new world order, far outweighs the chances of me catching something no worse than the flu. In other words believe me when I say I'm committed to raising this awareness for the hope of a brighter future, not just for my own child but also for you and yours. I live alone at the moment and don't intend to see any elder members of my family for at least a week or so. Technically it was an illegal gathering but only because we're in lockdown.
I just wanted to share some of the things I saw and invite a discussion.
The behaviour of the police was abhorrent. This was a peaceful protest. Remember I've been going to football for decades, I know when people are "up for it" and if there's trouble then "bring it on". Well there was none of that. It just wasn't that sort of crowd at all. At first it was a really good vibe. Just ordinary folk. All ages, older people and children too. But around the time the Father Christmas got taken down it all changed to a really intimidating and threatening atmosphere. Groups of six to ten plod would just pile in and clobber someone at random. I heard they'd deliberately target women and elderly to provoke the adult males in attendance. Even though they'd obviously had some training, the more I looked, the more I'm convinced these weren't actual old bill. These were hired thugs masquerading as police. At one point I cut down a side road when I looked over my shoulder and a sea of yellow figures were running towards me up Regent Street. I saw most of them go past but there were some really unfit stragglers coughing, spluttering and hobbling past. These lads were big but surprisingly out of shape. You need to have good fitness to be a regular copper, don't you? Right at that moment I saw a group of five coppers getting changed into their riot gear, crash helmet and the rest. For what? This aggression was completely unwarranted. There were rumours that some of the scuffles were a plant meaning the individual they picked on was one of them in plain clothes. There's also rumours flying round that some of the coppers had east European accents.
The Great Lardino accurately called a comparison with 1970's East Germany in an earlier post.

All you have actually managed to do is confirm your ability to believe in conspiracy theories. There is no tyranny, stripping of rights and a new world order. There is a pandemic.
Making assertions, without actual evidence, about the Police is cheap and easy to do. The Police keeping such things secret would be very difficult to do. So on balance I think those assertions are very unlikely to be true, but if evidence is shown then I will change my mind.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

If you skip to 1 hour, 11 mins (1:11) of the film and look at the guy in the silver jacket and head covering get bundled over the barrier, just wind it back a few frames and you can see he"s got a mask under his chin. Now if you're going to protest about the wearing of masks (among other things) then you wouldn't be wearing a mask, would you?

Watch it again, Wisbech. Does that really look like an authentic take-down of a Unite for Freedom protestor to you?
