Let's be honest. We have to tread on eggshells for the Jews because they have a powerful lobby and by the way, 6 million of them got murdered. It is similar with other groups who have a sizable minority or influence and or we have a running guilt trip about. For me, if you say something that is true or factual then it cannot be prejudice. If you have an opinion then you need to back it up. Identity politics should work in all directions if it to be tolerated at all. Unfortunately, it seems that some of us have not learned to play the game very well and just accept and act on criticism from other groups. I agree with your point, and am critical of some of Israel's polices too. How this differs though, is that Airbnb (of the left-wing Silicon Valley) have specifically taken issue with Israel and no other disputed occupied territories in the world. I'm sure you would also be critical of the Turks' 'illegal' occupation northern Cyprus, for example. Airbnb aren't. You have to adopt the same standard for every country and when you single one nation out, you have to ask why that is...
