You can be violent if you diss her majesty's forces but not if you want to stop fascism.

Of course stopping or calling out fascism isn't just about violence. Hearts and minds innit.

[Link] Sterling - this article has some interesting thoughts about the "marketplace for ideas" that you mentioned and I can't help but agreeing with a lot of it. Final paragraph very much how I feel about Brexit and what's implicit is the fear that the current government will not do anything differently in reality. It will just move power from one unrepresentative body to another, and leave us with no more say than we had beforehand.

Sterling - this article has some interesting thoughts about the "marketplace for ideas" that you mentioned and I can't help but agreeing with a lot of it.

Final paragraph very much how I feel about Brexit and what's implicit is the fear that the current government will not do anything differently in reality. It will just move power from one unrepresentative body to another, and leave us with no more say than we had beforehand.

As you think political violence is OK for those on the left, is it OK for the right also?
