One of them will get the nuclear codes. Ah, well. we've had a good run us humans.

Given some of the recent inspections that were published on US nuclear facilities and the technology, I'm more concerned that the missiles won't launch.

Some of them looked like they hadn't had a technical refresh since the late 70s. One of the sites used 8 inch floppy disks.

There is a cross over of Left and liberal. Those on the Left of politics tend to be more liberal. Call it what you like the prejudice is everywhere in broadcasting.

Liberal also incorporates a lot of right wing political view points and the basis of those views has a different point of origin.

Its often a mistake to assume that left wing means people are liberal. I've known more than a few racist and homophobic left wingers.

No, I've heard it's bad for your health.

I can only comment on what I see and what I see is liberalism/leftism all over the media.

I am all for liberalism when it is a force for good but all to often, at best it is a demonstration of naivety and at worst, a means to control thought and imformation.

The BBC report this morning that Trump has called Mrs.Clinton 'The Devil.'

So let us see if that is in fact what he said.

If he didn't call her the Devil that's a huge amount of right and left wing media outlets that are biased against him

If somebody compared me with the Devil I'd take that as a compliment.

How though, can one determine what is and is not a force for good. Generally its quite difficult to ascertain a concept in reality.

No one is capable of controlling peoples thoughts, only of influencing them via discourse and engagement - and the nature of all politics revolves around the control of information, something that liberalism has a better reputation on than either right or left wing governments.

Quite.

Which is why I like the idea of the banality of evil. The Devil seems like an interest chap, with some great stories and some fun arguments.

Donny Trump and Hilary Clinton are the kind of evil that's like a fart in which you follow through, in front of everyone you know, whilst giving a eulogy at a funeral.

Well liberalism is about morality and we associate our own morality with the concept of "good". It is a construct that has nothing to do with reality of course aside from a possible evolutionary advantage but that is speculation.
The control of thought is again debatable. It might not be possible to control people in a complete sense but I would suggest that influencing people on a sub conscious level is quite easy, We are being manipulated all the time. Orwellian manipulation is a part of modern life and you and I are a victim of it as much as anyone else.

Me or Clinton? Give someone enough power and they'll become the devil in the eyes of many anyway.
