I think Gallowgate Ender seems like a great bloke. Well written meanings, and don't try to gloat. We should wish supporters of his kind welcome..

But been reading palace fans on twitter and watching their games mainly via MOTD, nut really history is repeating.
The long winless runs, the baffling subs, the dreadful football, alienation of players (usually due to inability to man manage), the absolute spin "we play good attacking football" yet his teams are toothless.
At palace as at Newcastle, and his other clubs starts off well, gets his feet under the table then it all goes wrong.
It's down to his brilliance when the team win, but its bad luck, conspiracies, bad refs, the transfer window etc etc when it goes badly.

This man will ruin everything that's enjoyable about supporting your club. He'll divide the squad, divide the support and make it a pain in the arse to attend games because it's so dull.

I can see it has already started by skimming through this board. Don't fall into the trap of battered wife syndrome "well who else is better". Get out while you can

Well, we just lost the opening game of the season so the sky isn't exactly falling yet.

I think Galloway Ender should worry about his own lot and not waste his time on us !!! With 2 defeats so far in the Championship he should be wondering if Rafa will stay as a manager in Div 1 next season !!!!

I have a sneaking suspicion that Gallogate Ender didn't realise what a pathetic bunch many of the forum posting Palace supporters were as they would rather insult him than listen and take on board the home truths that he has posted about.

Many of the Toon army warned us what to expect when Pardew joined us and almost everything has come true and whatever has happened at their club in the meantime is completely irrelevant.

To be honest, before Pardew left we weren't actually flying.

And I don't know why are you talking about Newcastle here. This thread is about Pardew and it seems his excuses are running out. You have been s***e all 2016 and it has nothing to do with current Newcastle but all to do with Mr Pardew. I think you will sack him before Christmas.

Probably. Not sure we needed Newcastle fans to come over here, sign up to our page and start a thread on it though.

If we all signed up to the Newcastle forums to tell your fans whenever your manager is a pile of toilet there'd be no time for us to post on our own forum.

Fair play to Gallowgate Ender, he seems alright, but lets face it pretty much ALL geordie hate Pardew, and are searching for indications of their being right to do so at every turn. It's not exactly a neutral, cool headed appraisal frankly.

Pardew is a 6/10 manager IMHO. Form can bump that up, and it can fall off, but for the most part he is an experienced, somewhat succesful premiership manager. Not that much point pissing and moaning about him unless there are better, realisitc options out there, and currently i don't see many of those.

Well, none of us really had the power to veto his managment so whilst it was very sweet of them to "warn us", what exactly do you propose we should've done with that warning?

Listen to it perhaps instead of rubbishing the Newcastle fans for daring to cast aspersions on our wonderful home spun hero

Presumably because the team was doing quite well. They were patchy. They also did do some very good business.

His substitutions, selections and tactics were so bad they were sitting in a good position for a top ten finish, and had some good campaigns.

Pardew is a good manager at the level of clubs like ours. But then Newcastle fans turn on all their managers very rapidly - Allerdyce anyone?

That's fundamentally not accurate as you've based your position on cliches, half truths and outright lies.

Newcastle are destined to follow Leeds, their fans are deluded in thinking they are big clubs, but badly managed from the top was their downfall.
A bit pathetic they are still going on about Pardew, probably their most successful manager in recent times.

You're conflating being badly managed on football matters with being badly managed on financial matters. We're the 20th richest club on the planet, we're in no danger of doing a Leeds.

The reason we're talking about Pardew is because we were insulted as a fanbase, called deluded and prejudiced.

We weren't demanding a team that won every game, just one that looked competent, our form was as bad as yours has been recently. He'd go on runs without a win, then somehow pull out a few wins on the bounce and suddenly everything is rosy.

We didn't want Pardew out because he was a Southerner, we wanted him out because of the football he played and the results that football returned.

We're not saying "we told you so" we're advising you to get shot of Pardew before it's too late.

I've seen "he's the best standard of manager a club like your could get". Sorry, but that's horses***. Eddie Howe is a better manager than Pardew, as is Pochettino and Koeman. They may not see Crystal Palace as an attractive prospect for them now, but they would have a few years ago. There will be a raft of managers whose trajectories will take them beyond Pardew's ability, who would crawl over broken glass to manage a London team in the Premier League for an owner that backs his managers and lets him get on with it.

To say "he's the best you can get" is a damning indictment of your ambition.

Hello and welcome to our corner. Please first ignore 99% of the fanboys here, note I say fanboys and not 'supporters'.
Supporting a football team involves paying them, for that you have your right at a match to say whatever you like.
Most of poster's here are fanboys the follow the crowds type, they are unable to freethink, hence one gives you a banana reply, they all join in to throw a punch, good old bully boy tactic's.

I'm old enough to clearly remember Pardew playing for us, he was our second worst player, just behind Phil barber during that era. He was constantly out of position, slow, scared to tackle and totally unaware of the speed of the game around him, yet was a c0cky f***er who thought he was way better than anyone on the pitch.

When he came to us as manager I thought I'd give he benefit of the doubt, that perhaps over the years he'd learnt the game, maybe like Ferguson, bad player, great manager. But the honeymoon didn't last long.
His arrogance as a player has only increased into his managerial career, tenfold! His knowledge of the game is frankly embarrassing. He is unable to see opposition tactical changes in play, that even my child identifies. His choice of substitutions makes no logical sense at all, if the substitute has a good remainder of the game it's down to luck not judgment.
He does not trust our youth, thinks he's the most important part of our club, yet always blames others for things going wrong. However truly believes it is him making our club grow, he is trying to take the credit of our owners building the club as some part of his own account.

No Alan, your job is to manage the player's, nothing else. Yet you can't even do that!

Our 25000 crowd is half of yours and I know that the majority of your fans couldn't of been wrong week in week out, in wanting him out. He engrained a bad vibe into your club over a long period which will now take time to recover from, I don't want the same at Palace but already fear it's too late and the damage is done.

Would I trust him with £50million to spunk on players? Would I fnck!
