I wasn't defending the actions of the yellow vest I have no truck with people who use violence. I was criticising the French state and Macron because according to Peter Allen who I find to be a sensible journalist the security measures didn't stop the yellow vests just pushed them into the poorer areas. Apparently Macron doesn't like rioting in the tourist areas but in the poorer areas it is out of sight out of mind. The lack of media reporting this weekend seems to back this up.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |
