The line that 'getting rid of Trump' is worth anything is morally bankrupt. The US has done better since Trump took over in pretty much every single measuring stick. A Democrat victory would likely see worsening statistics. Edited by Stirlingsays (11 Mar 2020 7.52pm)

So it is Trump v Biden although seriously tempted to put a bet on Biden not making it to election day. Something is very wrong with this process because it makes zero sense.

Vulnerable and sociable atm. Recipe for getting C19. Trying to understand the US electoral process is bloody complicated but from what I can ascertain if a nominee chosen by the conventions drops out then the Democrats can nominate another candidate via a special committee which apparently will consist of around 440 people. So the mechanism is there for a real stitch up. Biden does poll well but in a one on one against Trump, then I simply do not see those numbers holding up. Biden is appaling on the TV. To my inexpert eye, he appears confused and unable to deal with even the most basic, and often low key, questioning. And in a dog-fight with Trump? It does not add up. Meaning they have a replacement lined up. Cannot see it being Hillary, as others have already claimed but they must have a back up in place. Reckon it will be a celebrity of some kind. A non-politician. Key now is seeing who Biden nominates as his VP.

With the election being in November though and all the campaigning and glad handing before that you have to think he's at a real risk, Trump too. The election just gets more and more interesting.....I reckon they should postpone it to the winter when they probably have a vaccine...but hey 'only in America' my friend.

I thought Bernie Sanders had a chance and thought he would stand up better to Trump in one one one debates. Biden will really have to turn things around if he's going to do anything gainst him. He will need a lot of training as he just seems too nice and seems like the kind of person who Trump will walk all over in a debate. Think Trump will be happier about this outcome than if Sanders had won. Edited by sitdownstandup (09 Apr 2020 8.30am)

Trumps talks about delaying election. Now s*** goes nuts. Could be the tipping point. Mixed feelings. On the one hand I am convinced that the Democrats, at the behest of their globalist paymasters, are deliberately orchestrating events by way of defeating Trump but once you start messing about with actual elections in terms of delaying them and so on, you are playing with fire. This is how real civil wars start.

Throw in an election in which neither side will accept the result (and lets not pretend the Democrats have anything to be proud about here. They have spent the last 4 years do any and everything to topple Trump) and you have a potential for utter mayhem and genuine violence because whatever you might think of Trump, Biden is not the answer the US, and the rest of the world by default, needs. It ain't looking pretty. Oh and before any Lefties start to bleat and whine about how important democracy is, don't forget that most of you utter t***s have spent the last few years here in the UK doing your utmost to over-turn the Brexit vote. So lets not all of a sudden pretend that you genuinely value the right of people to vote.
