He worked hard and won a lot in the air but didn't hit the target with two reasonable chances - he is paid to score and he can't.
He took the ball from Luka in the Bournemouth game and probably cost us two points there.
He went down in the area today in the second half when he could and should have stayed on his feet and invited a proper penalty.
He threw himself to the ground near the end rather than jump for a ball on the edge of the area.
He is no longer good enough.
I hope China want him because if they don't no one else will and we will be stuck with him!

As many hol'ers have said, if villa get promoted he'll be off there.

So "PLEASE PLEASE" villa get promoted. Good riddance to a £30.000.000 overrated "BIG DONKEY".BYE BYE.

The first game I have seen where I have actually thought that Benteke looked as bad as the posters on here say he looked. Really poor today.

Benteke has always been hot & cold just go through his career you will see this plus he was never a big goal scorer last season was his second best season he has ever had in prem

I said when we signed him liverpool are laughing at us we well over paid again.

People need to stop blaming him for the position we are in it's not just his fault.

He wont go to china they have gotten strict over there with big spending now plus he was offered the chance he wasn't interested

The main problem I see is Roy loves him so even if we did have other strikers available he wont drop him we already saw this when Soloth was available.

If we’d had a half decent striker this season we would’ve been challenging for 7th place even after the FdB fiasco.
Benteke has gone - he really is rubbish. No effort and can’t hit a barn door. You could play anyone up front who would do better than him.
If we do stay up it will be in spite of Benteke and if we do then he should be sold on immediately no matter what the loss is . We then need to buy at least 2 more strikers to go with Wickham and Sørloth.

With Wilf obviously not at 100% we can’t carry Benteke any more - surely we’ve got someone who can at least put pressure on defences!

Well, Benteke will have our remaining 7 games to prove us wrong? I’m expecting him to hit the target next week onwards against lesser opposition and there will be more space around him for others to create and score. Let’s hope we get the results our form (even without the points) is showing us against the top six sides? I think we will get out of trouble and Benteke will score the goals to get us out of trouble :-)
