Why would we want another fullback, let alone one who's probably retiring in a season or two? And I've heard he's doing just fine adjusting to life in Italy. Don't see it happening.

Has-been, Roma not playing him aside, Cheryl left him! If he's not prepared to hold on to a bit of skirt like that then I don't trust the boy.

i'd have him here, England's best ever left back and will still have something to offer.

P.S I back him for leaving Cheryl Cole too, she's fit but possibly dull in the sack, and I reckon because she's famous too it could have all been too much for him.

As a 20 year old, I would go as far as to say the best left back of my footballing generation. Anyone who thinks he couldn't do a job here is utterly deluded, would be a real world class signing. If we were to get him, cabaye and remy I'd absolutely lose my s***! Surely would be our biggest transfer window in the history of the club.

And if he gets injured? Our only other natural left backs are Zeki Fryers who couldn't get a regular run at Ipswich or Rotherham and Jerome Binnom-Williams who was on loan at Southend last season. Sourae and Cole competing for one spot would be immense with Binnom-Williams an excellent prospect behind them.

This! he is hardly washed up and passed it, if fit would be a nailed on starter would be an incredible signing..

Absolutely, not to mention the knowledge and assistance he could pass on to Souare.
