Contract terminated by Roma Would still be a fantastic acquisition in my opinion. I just don't see Souare being solid enough defensively just yet. It would be good for Souare to learn off one of the best.

Not as good as Sansom in his pomp but i'd give him a year deal no worries.
Sansom was indeed better but then he's not just been released by Roma and looking to join a prem club for a season or two. For that reason, at this moment in time, I'd prefer Cole.

Haven't seen him play in a long time, but a player that relied a huge amount on his pace and I can't imagine he has too much of it these days.

If Papa continues to play like he did on Sunday why would we need an old Ashley Cole back? He has improved no end on some last years performances. As it has been said elsewhere he could become a cult player here if he carries on with performances like that. Ashley Cole would be a step back, surely he has lost his pace and would be roasted each week in the Prem if he could even get in the side!

Imagine learning of him as well in training. Plus shirt sale lol

It was a little over a year ago that many people considered him unlucky not to be included in the World Cup squad, when he was still arguably better than Baines and Shaw.
