I think the post was being sarcastic, a la, the first two: "Well done to Crystal Palace FC on reaching 3rd place in the league, enjoy your European experience" - we weren't given a Euro place in '91, despite finishing 3rd in the First Division (old). "The league is being cut to fewer teams this season" wonder what team will fill that space, and be relegated? - in '95, we were relegated from the Premier League, even though we finished 4th from bottom, due them wanting to cut the number of teams (from 22 to 20). I think the post was being sarcastic, a la, the first two:

"Well done to Crystal Palace FC on reaching 3rd place in the league, enjoy your European experience" - we weren't given a Euro place in '91, despite finishing 3rd in the First Division (old).

"The league is being cut to fewer teams this season" wonder what team will fill that space, and be relegated? - in '95, we were relegated from the Premier League, even though we finished 4th from bottom, due them wanting to cut the number of teams (from 22 to 20).
