Our Team is doing really well.
Another area we are improving is set pieces and corners.
The Free Kick where Bolasie was fouled/stumbled was very good.
Gerry Francis could well be behind this improvement.

Palace 13th 2017/18.

The change inn attitude was from Palace. At last an attacking mind-set. Unfortunately, because of injury to KG, not really what TP would have preferred.

Yeah but we looked so much better when he did, don't get me wrong I think KG has been good the last few games.
But Ledley looks class in that midfield role, along side Jedi.

always a Norwood boy, where ever I live.

All to do with TP and our fans

Teams had the same mentality when they went to Stoke.A hard place to go,cauldren of noise, not a place you really wanted to play.If you could nick a point you did well.

Seems the same is happening with us.I doubt very much that Manchitty and the Pool would be to happy to come down to us chasing the title.

Wow,never thought I would think that at the Palace

Also had a lot to do with the fact that Villa and Lambert were appalling.

They were appalling or we made them look that way ?

Villa are set up as a counter attacking team, which is why they often do better away than at home where they are expected to go and attack teams. However, TP is under no such obligation at home, and we just let them have the ball early on and let them come at us. They had a lot of sterile possession and didn't really have any idea of how to break us down.

Exactly!!!!

But that is what Tony will need to do from now on gradualy improving the TEAM.And possibly that is the first change LEDLEY for KG.

IMO minor surgery needed.
A good Goalscorer obviously.

Read the Liverpool and Man City fan sites, definitely a grudging respect developing and a general consensus that we're either a potential banana skin or just a horrible team to have to play.

I would say any club in bottom half will worry about coming to Selhurst - for many reasons.

Top ten clubs will know it will be a long hard slog, where they have to concentrate, risk injuries and an intimidating atmosphere.

it's brilliant

They were terrible. Lambert picked a counter attacking side where the wing backs didn't get forward and the front two were 40 yards ahead of any support.

We played well, but we were also helped by the fact Agbonlahor clearly didn't care and Villa were just aimless in possession. So many long passes hit straight into touch.

They might just have enough points already to survive, but I would be seriously worried if I was a Villa fan. Worst team I've seen this season, at least Sunderland created some threatening chances.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

Villa were just about the worst team I've seen this season. They had no ambition other than to get a draw and I also would be very worried for the future if I were a fan.

Having said that, we are now a team that is going to fight and make it hard for the top teams and, as results prove, beat mid and lower placed clubs. The work rate on Saturday was tremendous and we don't appear to fear any team now

More than anything, on Saturday, I was so please that the crowd sang for Tony Pulis - it's about time boys!!
