Really good player, has been brilliant these last few weeks. Has a very impressive leap on him too! His link up play with Punch is also usually very goo as people have mentioned. Much prefer to have him at RB and Ward at LB and not have Moxey and Parr. As good as they have been, they are not really good enough for the prem.

''Defensively he did ok but has a tendency to drift inside (near the centre backs) when villa are attacking down the other side. ''

Tony P,has got the fullbacks playing more inside, with the wingers dropping in to fill that void.

Good to hear he has done well - at full back when oddly I didn't think he was as good for us compared to playing as a central defender.

I suspect having somebody very good tactically like Pulis telling him what to do helps.

Always looked comfortable on the ball and for his height not bad in the air.

Maybe got caught at times pace wise.

Keeps pretty fit and avoids bookings (managed to play 113 games in a row for us)

He's not a Palace fan, he's a Watford fan

Havent seen too much said about his performances. But I thought Saturday was the best he has played for us. He is a total revelation at right back. Am I hyping him or is he really that good?

I like him. I think he's staked a claim for a first team spot now

Ah thanks.

Just to reiterate without wanting to hype him up he looked like the complete right back on Saturday and was a revelation.

Lots of good things happening in this team with a lot of players growing leaps and bounds in stature. Everyone knows that Jules is God, but Dann's influence and partnership with Delaney in the middle of the defence has been superb - And Ward is just Ward (another revelation all season long)and the entire back line is full of fortitude and as the clean sheets testify fairly impregnable.

I think there's more to come over the next few games in the run in. Puncheon is utterly transformed since the penalty and Bolassie is starting to look like he is going to put one or two in the net very soon. Its the way that the players are growing and believing, its infectious and is permeating all around. I really really do think its a great time to be a Palace fan. TP takes the plaudits. Millen, Francis all these guys, there's something good happening at Selhurst and its gathering momentum.

Adrian M is very lucky to be in the side. He gets caught out on pace many times but is able to foul his way to safety. Definitely knows how not to get booked

Do you actually support Palace, first of all it's KG now it's Mariappa, get a grip and support the players, and stop criticizing the players. When you want to watch perfect players, Man C and Liverpool seem to be doing ok.

Blimey Bilko, are we really being asked to support all Palace players all the time? I'd prefer an open discussion, without personality digs. It's called maturity, but I'm sure you will want to support me on that one. Heavens if anyone should want to disagree!

Hate to say it but I totally agree with Adrian. He has every right to have the opinions he has without being told to go support Man City et al. Just like I have every right to say I disagree with him profusely.

Mariappa looked shaky at best when he first started at palace. He is now one of our most consistent performers and probably one of the most improved players this season. He follows TP's plans, he's created a fantastic partnership with puncheon and he has made sure he gets all of the simple things right. To be honest that's all I want from a player like AM right now as I believe that with him we can defend resolutely and launch attacks successfully.

I agree Adrian has a right to his opinion without him being challenged on his support of Crystal Palace and I hope he agrees with my right to an opinion that completely disagrees with his assessment as well.

since he came to us i have always thought he had something to offer and i now wonder if he is a versatile player who could offer us more when he is given the chance to go forward. earlier this season on he scored with a nice header so perhaps he has the ability to move around in different positions.

Last three games he's looked really good, and links up well going forwards. I thought his game saturday wasn't as good as Cardiff or Chelsea, but that might be not having KG in front of him.

Surely that is a plus not a negative
