We played the ball out from the back.. we were skillful, comfortable on the ball and deadly down the flanks, not to mention the work rate..

Their second goal was fortunate with a big deflection.

This is an Everton team who have been turning teams over left right and centre.

As a supporter for 45 years, I can't recall a run of games that has left me in such total shock..

It's not just the victory but the style of play with a supposed bunch of write off's.

Pulis, you've had your fair share of critics but my f..k have you shut them up.

Can you hear those fragile CLAPPERS AT THE AMEX,???

Elation!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is exactly what I've just been saying.

If this is the football that Stoke got bored of... Then I don't know, their loss and our gain!

Totally unbelievable what he's done for us!

Pulis's hoof ball is just media bullsh*t. What TP achieved at Stoke was remarkable and he looks to be repeating this for you guys.
I and many other Stokies have the utmost respect for the man and what he did for us.
Congratulations on a fantastic result tonight and look forward our premiership encounters next season

Cheers fella. What Pulis did for you and is doing for us is nothing short of miraculous. If we can be where you are in 3 or 4 years time we'll be very happy, and we won't call for his head if staying up becomes a run-of-the-mill event!

Spot on. Personally I couldn't care less what type of football we play, as long as we get points, which is exactly what we're doing. But it's even better because we're doing it by playing decent counter attacking football, which at the moment, I think is f**king brilliant to watch! Pulis is a genius!

There difference between TP at Palace and TP at Stoke is that he has learnt to give it a bit of a go at the away games. Apparently Stoke fans were very happy with the type of football at home but felt that they always played for a 0-0 draw away from home and often returned with no shots on target.

I say apparently as I have not seen Stoke play other than against Palace but I remember Stoke fans ringing the football phone ins and saying this.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

I agree ,the only time we do play it a bit long is when Delaney knocks it into the channels now and then , but we play with 2 exciting wide players , full backs that get forward , we have a bit of guile in midfield and when chamakh plays in behind the striker we have a bit of quality .

so hoofball ? far from it .

it seems to me that pulis has changed his style a bit or is it has he says , he just works with what he has .

tony pulis red and blue army ! sang with much gusto

TP summed it up nicely in his post match interview last night when asked about his Stoke days he admitted playing a different style of football with Palace as we have PACE, something that he didn't have to work wit at Stoke. He seems to have that remarkable ability to exploit the latent strengths that players possess a la Puncheon who you will remember used to be the subject of constant abuse on HOL (me included). Truly remarkable!

The mark of a good manager is being able to get a team winning. The mark of a great manager is getting different sides with different playing styles winning.

I get that and in no way wish to diss TP and what he's done, but surely if he wanted to he could've bought some players with pace when he was at Stoke? He did spend quite a bit there after all.

Either way we can see he's a class act who knows how to get 100% out of his players, and long may it continue.
