They're currently beating Yeovil...

I'd like to see Derby go up. I live in Nottingham and work in Derby so would be easy for me to have a jaunt to Pride Park (plus they deserve it)when Palace are in town. It's also nice to see one's local clubs do well. Will be quite a successful season for the East Midlands if Derby join Leicester in getting promoted (shame about Forest).

God no, not ever. How could anyone wish any sort of success whatsoever on them? I'd rather they got relegated to the conference and had 3,000 rattling round their wonky warehouse waving their plastic clappers and singing from a songsheet.

Deluded f*ckers don't deserve anything except misery and failure.

How I wish I had your turn of phrase.

I also think Yeovil deserve to lose for wearing that strip !

I think they wore it expecting to have a sting in their tail.

I'll get my coat.....

No. I don't want them to enjoy the success we are enjoying, but I do want them in either cup as much as possible. We were close this year and hopefully we will get them next season. I personally want Wigan to go up and Watson to get another shot at the Premier League.

Want them up so we can have two derbies and win both of them.
Want Millscum relegated too, more than any other team on the planet.
Probably going to lose on both.

The right place at the right time

I'd be happy to see them get promoted but I think they should always have just one more season in the Championship.

And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways

Stadium, training facilities, attendances are all insignificant factors: its the football that matters & thus far, they are destined to always remain in our footballing shadow.

If they were to grace the Premier League, this status quo would be broken. How anybody can wish them an invite to join the elite is beyond me...

The sheer arrogance of that lot before/during the play-offs should never be forgotten. They really did think that all they had to do was turn up & they'd be victorious. I'd never witnessed anything like it.
The celebrations after the 0-0 first leg, the plastic clappers and song cards, the gloating about Murray's injury were all so far beyond the comprehension of a regular football brain & that only made the victory sweeter.
The fact it was Brighton was almost irrelevant at that point- if ANY club/fans showed that sort of arrogance in those circumstances, I'd have been praying for them to be dumped on their arse in the 2nd leg just as much.

Their amazing fanbase (that includes all the Sussex-based part time West Ham, Chelsea and United fans that go just 'cos) are already at their level and that's where they belong.

Let them stay there & maybe we can give them a little reminder in a cup competition, every now and then, of what football is really about.

All of the above ...and I've never forgotten the half bricks that rained upon Palace fans (men, women and children) as we walked towards their Goldstone ground in the late seventies. It's a big BAHA ha ha ha from me too!!!!

Good post EEA and their arrogance continues; I read on another thread that they think (on NSC) only three of our current squad would get in their team. They are deluded beyond delusion.

Be much happier to see the weed a division below us.

Why give them hope of nicking a point off us when we could continue to hold our (centuries) long bragging rights over them
