This match may very well decide MOY in TP's favor. Subbing out Puncheon and Chamakh for Murray and Gayle changed the whole shape of the match. From dead and buried to the verge of an unbelievable victory and taking a point from a hopeless cause is what MOYs are made of. Rogers totally bottled his tactics, he failed to adjust and his defenders were absolutely clueless. Bolassie completely undressed Johnson on the second, Murray played his role to perfection and Gayle showed his talent at the absolutely biggest possible moment. His goals have provided at least four points, which isn't bad for a part timer. Delaney shook of a rocky 60 minutes to ignite the fight back. Palace under Pulis are a club on the rise. This close season will be something to watch.

I'm surprised Rodgers didn't concede that as well as the title tonight.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Tonight was a managerial masterclass. Pulis has won Manager of the year, but I'm not sure that he will be awarded it.

Pulis easy now.

Brendan Rodgers , naïve against Chelsea , and against us 3-0 up and did not shut up shop . Thought they were good enough to match City's goal difference.

Brendan , You know nothing .

when is 'manager of the year' announced ? Pulis will need some time to dry-clean his baseball cap and to dob some white dobbing onto his trainers.

the dry cleaners at Liverpool cannot wash away the tears and will be closed for summer recess.
