Really sad news. Like most on here I've never met him that I know of, but am certainly thankful for his contribution to this site. Would be fantastic if the club could do something this weekend in memory.

I've gone straight into page 36 when I saw that the thread had been promoted to a 'sticky'.

I am another who never met staffie, but you didn't have to meet him to understand his authority on the subject, nor to understand the esteem in which he was held.

I'm feeling really sad tonight.

Perhaps it should be appropriate to remember staffie with a capital S.

RIP staffie and sincere sympathy to his family and many friends.

I am absolutely shocked and gutted at this terrible news. I never knew staffie personally but had always found him very helpful and freindly. God bless you staffie and rest in peace

As an integral part of the match day experience for so many of us especially when not attending a game, one of the article writers of Hol should write a piece in his honour, or maybe have a section somewhere permanently on the site dedicated to his memory. Just a thought..
