It feels like losing a friend I never met. Like so many on here I am grateful to him and say: Thank you R.I.P staffie. "Legend" is so over-used, but staffie fully deserves the title.

can i suggest a one minute applause during the next home game for staffie. To be conducted in the minute which marks his age ? all the Hol-ers will be distributed throughout Selhurst, with maybe something projected onto the main tv screen...something like the logo for holmesdale.net. It would be a fitting honour.

The man helped keep me connected with my beloved Palace after I moved to the far east and various other places. Always grateful, no doubt he will be missed by many, take care dude. Hope you can find a decent stream up there.
Why would anyone chose to be a Seagull? The Eagle is a far superior creature. The Seagull lives under it's damp pier meekly looking out, blinded by the sheer quality of the Eagle's palace. |

staffie, a true friend to me when I was also seriously ill recently, he helped me through my illness, we always ended up with Palace talk. I would like to pass on my deepest condolences to staffie and family, and all who knew him...as a very distant Palace supporter, (and I am sure I speak for most distant supporters in far off lands), that the contributions staffie made to this site are immeasurably to my continued love of this football club over the years,... the early morning's, getting up to watch my beloved team on one of the many avenues supplied by the Man will not be forgotten.
