I've noticed there's a lot of new posters on here, that have only just recently joined. They all seem to turn up with the same attitude, except for a couple that stand out that have been here a little while longer.

What is it with these pointless people?

The best thing about trolls is that they instantly get called out as trolls and then their trolling thread runs to 50 pages which include:

Sensibly discussing the original topic

Bashing down the OP as if they were actually a CPFC that thought they had a point

Arguing about whether they actually are a troll or not

Trying to find out whether the OP was there on a rainy Tuesday night for a game against Lincoln City or some such proof of loyalty to the club

I think that the worst one is on 'Away Fans'; some Chelsea cnut posts the score from a development game and it's run to 83 pages! There are people on there kissing his f***ing arse. The cnut is still posting on the same thread and knobs are still replying FFS

Well at least it keeps him busy and you know where he is....... saves too many threads getting side-lined.

Well it's clearly not that obvious. I made numerous comments in the 'Standing at Selhurst' debate and all of a sudden I was a "Troll", "Attention seeker" and a "Wind Up merchant" when nothing is further from the truth.

I was expressing a personal and honest view about something that raises my hackles and I was turned on by a baying mob. And all this business about me purposely tuning threads into a "Willo" thread is total and utter hogwash.I have consistently stated that I didn't want a thread to disintegrate rapidly into yet another tedious "Willo thread" and asked for the debate to return to the matter under discussion.

Yes of course there are the Wind-Up merchants on numerous boards but alas I am not one of them.

Why does this bother you so much?

1. It is intended for Away fans to communicate with us.
2. Without his thread the forum would be dead.
3. If by "kissing his f***ing arse" you mean people being polite, interested in his opinion and not rude or offensive, then I'm not ashamed to be one of those knobs.
