not long to go

great confidence win for England yesterday
2 bad injuries for wales and a sluggish performance against italy
Ireland 2 defeats in a row

hotels in and around uk getting booked up

I am sure it will be a great tournament for us rugby fans.

Cannot wait!

Gutted for Leigh Halfpenny. Hope to see him play this tourny.

As you said, great for England's confidence.

Went to Wigan v Catlans Rugby League yesterday at Millwall.. Good game.

Hope to see a few more free flowing running rugby this World Cup hopefully like Rugby League. Fingers crossed.

Can't wait. By my estimations, if England can win a very tough group we'll likely have Scotland and then Ireland en route to the final so would stand a good chance of getting at least that far again.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

How good was Brown yesterday...... he caught everything and was very dominant joining in our wing play.

As usual though a Welsh referee tried to spoil the party.... why did he not bother with the TMO for the Irish try (he couldn't have had a full view of it), then when we scored he gets the TMO not only to look at the try, but the phases of play beforehand.

It only ever seems to happen to England.

Gutted by the two injuries, more so for the players themselves. Halfpenny a big miss but so is Rhys Webb who has been on fire lately at club and international level.

its strength in depth and experience that's needed to go all the way.
and wales always lacks strength in depth...

hate seeing great players missing out through injury.

Strength in depth doesn't really explain why we were knocked out in the 2011 semi-final against France though.

I'm hoping the injuries aren't as bad as feared but not looking good.

Really can't wait for this. A disappointing lack of publicity considering we're hosting it and it's a sport we're actually decent at. But who cares, bring it on.

There is a lack of publicity for the RWC. re:- buying tickets, I went on the official site [Link] and it looks like you have to join it before looking at the cost of the various matches. Why don't they advertise the cost of the matches without having to join? (so they have your email to send you rubbish?), I'm thinking of the less attractive matches. Perhaps there is publicity done at rugby clubs.

As far as cricket is concerned, I feel there is a lack of publicity/advertising done by Surrey CCC. Who know's that next year for a junior membership it is £20.00 (date of birth must not be prior to 10th May 2000). [Link] Do Surrey CCC go round local schools? I doubt it.

Sorry I no little about the cost of rugby club matches, probably have to search the internet.

Overall I get the impression there is an in-house view taken by sports, a snobby view of only wanting a certain type of person going.

That's my rant over!!

Find out what team is in which division, eg which division is Coppull United in?

The biggest problem i have watching it on the telly is ITV. Its bad enough having to watch internationals on sky. BT rugby coverage is superb and i like the six nations on the Beeb. Out of interest do itv do any sport well?

Rugby clubs across the UK got first pick of a lot of the tickets, especially ones in rugby towns like Gloucester and Exeter for the smaller games. I think that's actually fair.

People who really care about rugby will have bought up the tickets. I think most of the games will be packed and have a great atmosphere. As a nation we're actually pretty good at turning up for internationals of any sport when we host it.

I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry.
