do please give our regards to the political discussions on the West Brom fansite and Tranmere Rovers.

just to keep you up to speed. We are on 33 points, likely to stay up and playing Huddersfield in the league soon. Our home stadium is Selhurst in SE25, you can find it on google.

just about everybody on here has an opinion about Palace and football. Even the Brighton trolls talk football. Tell your boss.

Yes pickle, what else could we possibly be referring to?

Enacting the result of the referendum, as made legally binding by Gina Miller and as pledged during a democratic election manifesto thereafter.

Not sure how you've missed this.

I guess his point was that at the time of the referendum it wasn't legally binding. Though yes, that's neither here nor there now.

So when the extension is over the deal offered will have to be accepted.
What is the point really.

Good point. Will a short extension change anything, when they've already been dithering for near on three years?

May will be desperation to get one though, and so I don't see us getting a green light for a short extension without it costing us further.

A longer extension wouldn't surprise me, but then again nor would an EU country vetoing any extension. A scenario parliament rather arrogantly doesn't even view as a possibility.

to anyone with half a brain it was obvious that 45 min wmd stuff was utter pony - same bretins who wanted war want to leave - I'm emigrating in 2 or 3 months' time - can't wait to leave this dying dump of a country

Wrong didn't Blair want war? and Campbell? I didn't want war but wanted to leave. Again the remainers saying leavers are thick, how boring
With your attitude towards this country glad you are leaving

After all the waffling our negotiations were pants. The EU know we aren’t going to leave without a deal, so it was flawed from day one. May is a remainer, so why the hell is she in charge, turkeys don’t vote for Christmas.
The establishment and big business never expected the vote to leave would happen and have done everything in their power to make sure it doesn’t.
A betrayal to the 17.4 million people who voted to leave and democracy.

I disagree slightly, it's completely Democratic. It's just the Democratic system we have isn't very good. In fact you could argue it's TOO Democratic

The irony is many people want to leave the EU as they feel it's not Democratic but our democratic process has just created this whole mess and and complete impasse

I see that the Commons defeated by a massive margin a motion calling for a 2nd referendum. So if we should allow parliament the final say as most Remainers keep telling us then that means its off the table!

They don't want no deal
They don't want May deal
They don't want 2nd referendum
They won't get a good deal

What's the solution?

Democracy doesn't work

Politicians voted to invoke article 50 without a coherent plan or strategy or even a care.

Whatever we may say about democracy, there has to be competence.

Our parliament simply does not have any.
