We moved here for quality of life. That's not going to change any time soon, in fact it's set to get even better. What's hilarious and delicious is that you're still very jealous and bitter of that, it's to be expected. I know this country very well, lived here for 5 years back in 2002, it's like a second home for us.

You still don't get it. We don't hate the places you live, we hate a very small and specific subset of the people that live there.

I've lived in plenty of places on this planet, unconstrained by the myopic wall EUrocrats have constructed themselves. I've done so entirely by merit, not because "muh freedumb of moovemunt". I don't brag about it, I don't shove it down people's throats, but I've gone where I've gone because I offer something to my host country that's more than "my passport says I can come in and you have to let me". I could up and leave and move to Vienna and pick up a job with very little difficulty. I choose not to. The UK is better for what I do, it offers more, and I don't abhor my country, nor it's culture, nor (mainly) it's people.

People love sticking it to you, because you come across as unjustifiably smug in doing what anyone in the UK could do if they wanted. I personally pity you. Communicating on a technology invented by a Brit, writing in this dirty heathen language, on a platform for supporters of a British football club.
