David Cameron was asked about his late Father's interest in said offshore accounts.
He said "It's got nothing to do with me".

A mealy mouthed reply.

I refuse to believe there are that many people out there that can't spell. Too f**king lazy, that's what I think.

A large number of people with money are always going to hide it to avoid tax.

Makes you wonder why government doesn't actively seek to negotiate taxation with the super rich, rather than set arbitrary levels that people choose to avoid.

Yes, yes, fairness and all that. However, I would rather the Treasury took some money from these people than none at all.

The UK needs to change its tax legislation to relate to where markets and profits are generated, rather than where companies are registered.

Also, some of these actions are violations of laws regarding international organised crime (money laundering).

F**k them, I paid my tax bill, they can pay theirs. Hiding funds isn't avoidance, is evasion and that is a crime.

I think, in fairness an amnesty and a warning that in future, attempts to hide earnings or failing to list ownership or failing to disclose overseas holdings will be regarded as a crime and pursued as money laundering or proceeds of crime.

MI-6 would be very well suited to doing this. In fact it probably could be fitted into the 'war on terror' as I expect the same methodologies apply to terrorists hiding and concealing funds.

Transferring through banks more than £5k brings you to the attention of all the major authorities in this country as does carrying cash. A friend of mine won £18k at a London casino, got very pissed and fell in the road waiting for a cab-infront of the OB. Upon searching him, they found the cash and as he was incoherent, arrested him. 12 hours later when sober they questioned him and didn't believe his story. Took 2 years for him to prove it and eventually got his money back although the OB didn't want to part with it. Having cash is a pain in the arris.

I have read a few articles recently on the " war on cash " by the governments , mainly the US fed, I'm still trying to get my head around it but its all to do with quantitive easing and the control and artificial propping up of the economy by the fed . if we don't have cash its pretty easy to control numbers just flying about between us and banks and the fed just printing money . not physical money but just numbers .

I really hope this blows up even bigger , its scandalous how people who have influence can get away with this stuff . I have just been watching " night manager " Richard roper in real life would probably have used mossback fonseca just to give you an idea how it works and the impact it has .

no spoilers please got the last one to watch

Cameron's reputation is slowly being trashed and luckily he only has Corbyn to answer to, so is getting away with it for now.

At some point though, he is heading for a big fall.

Pig-fcuking will be the least of his worries.

Think you may find that general public LIKE Party MPs are slowly but steadily coming to see that transparency; earnestness and principled ambition ambition for all , is increasingly reaching a wider public mark. Let us see how negative Corbynesque politics, as daily wheedled out by Daily Mail & Sun (run by tax dodging Press Barons) etc, is reflected within London Mayoral and Council elections....

Its sad but as I see it it will blow over and be a nothing story in a week or so, it just doesn't suit those who run the press to keep the story out there. Those who should be held accountable won't be.
