We have been 'rumoured' be interested in attacking midfielders like Ilicic who could link as Chamakh used to - but score goals too

I agree that benteke is the ideal striker, however for some reason he doesn't want to join whether it's fee,agents or salary. We must improve the forward line as our top league scorer was only 5 or 6 goals. For me berahino is an massive upgrade on gayle. Berahino scored 14 goals in one prem season,and was on the cusp of England.Whereas Dwight Gayle had 4 managers that didn't fancy playing him.

I really don't think he's worth anywhere near £20m. 17 starts, 14 sub appearances, 4 goals. With that sort of game time, Frazier Campbell would comfortably manage that. We found out last season that without Wickham, we struggle. We have to have someone else on the books in a similar mould, unless Pardew thinks that physical presence could be Bolasie? 17 starts, 14 sub appearances, 4 goals. With that sort of game time, Frazier Campbell would comfortably manage that.

We found out last season that without Wickham, we struggle. We have to have someone else on the books in a similar mould, unless Pardew thinks that physical presence could be Bolasie?

Berahino is better than Gayle. If we were to go 442 then I'd say he'd be a good purchase if we got a bony or Benteke.
