Ironically Rod Stewart got turned down by Joe Meek.I've an album called The Alchemist of Pop.Each track is by a different Joe Meek artist, quite surprising the names on it.

I saw C&D about 3/4 years ago (O2 Indigo) and the crowd were mostly in their 50's, blokes, ex skinheads/punks, p1ssed and a little bit on the violent side. It was all moshing and lager showers. I hid at the back.
Lend me a Tenor 31 May to 3 June 2017 John McIntosh Arts Centre with Superfly in the chorus |

Do any of you remember them playing at the Palace? I think I am right in saying they were the pre-match entertainment before playing Bolton first game of the season 1998-1999.
