When was he ever a hero and breath of fresh air? Has always been a hypocritical shi*bag. Quotes before joining leave campaign: "I would be well up for trying to make the positive case" (for staying in the EU) A brexit vote would: "embroil the Government for several years in a fiddly process of negotiating new arrangements, diverting energy from the real problems that have nothing to do with Europe.” 4 weeks before joining the leave campaign, on the possibility of leading the leave campaign: "the trouble is I'm not an outer"

If only someone knew, or cared, who the leader of the liberal democrats, is this week, surely they must fancy some kind of coup. Although in fairness to the Lib Dems, its more like Musical Chairs, without any seats being taken away. They really can't afford to lose a single seat.

Disagree. People knew what they were voting for, they just didn't know they might not get it, or only get part of it. Or they knew that my be the case that you had to leave to reform or have the changes you want. All those celebrities claiming you reform from within aren't worth a minute's attention. Izzard, Geldof, any of them. What did Cameron get? Nothing. What will anyone get with draconian measures if you want change? Nothing. I think this is the one certainty out of all of this. Unless you shock and shake them up, nothing ever happens apart from more members, less net contributors and more net receivers, more displeasure.
