On your first point...Yes, which makes it all the more peculiar that anyone English would not support Wales, given that they're mostly products of your academies.

On the second point...That's an easy statement to make and it's difficult to prove or disprove it. I propose a series of televised debates hosted by Dimbleby, followed by a national poll to resolve the issue once and for all. Might be a waste of time though as there's a high chance that the result will show that people of Scots, Irish and Welsh descent have varying views of England, even the English have varying views of England.

I am supporting Wales. I don't go in for this inter British rivalry thing.

Same. If someones sense of national pride is so fragile they fall apart over this nonsense thats a sorry state of affairs. The Wales game was the highlight of the tournament and I wish the fellas all the best against Ronaldos lot.

Good man! Same with me, I support an English club so it'd be a bit daft to have some sort of complex about supporting England.

First and foremost I support England without hesitation for every sport... even Tiddleywinks!

Once we are no longer competing I give my allegiance to our pluckier home nations from an underdog perspective. Hence why I wanted Northern Ireland to beat Wales. As Wales won I supported them v Belgium particularly as 3 Palace players featured as well as Coleman being ex Palace.

I have to say I found it a bit disappointing to see the Welsh Squad celebrating our demise against Iceland though. This happens at Rugby too and I guess Welsh people love it when we fcuk up?

However, this seems to the year of the under-dog, so expect a Wales v Iceland final.
