I was speaking to someone last night about a few players and I brought up Blackett.He said that Paul Ince signed Blackett on 'Loan' when he was manager of Blackpool.I didn't recall Blackett going on Loan there.

As I said, when this chap mentioned that Blackett had been on 'Loan' at Blackpool, I had no recollection of him playing there.When he mentioned Blackpool I immediately thought of Holloway but this chap says it was Paul Ince who signed him.He is a very good contact so I didn't doubt his word.And from the above, I was right not to do so ! I have been developing thoughts of when do some of our posters sleep. Willo has mentioned ending his contributing to the site for that evening - always interesting. There is talent out there, French substitute in European final - aged 20, having played at high level in Italy, France and now going to a German Club. The question is AP / SP finding them and not too much publicity. We have a few young AP purchases on the books - need to run them out in selected PL & cup matches. Rooney started at 16, has AP got good surprises for us? COYP
