If we knew more about him we'd have raised our offer, instead we didn't and didnt want to risk it.

Therefore if he was our main target, and I didn't hear of many other def mid bids, then we would've rated him more the £8mil or wherever it was. Or did we rate him slightly better than Jordan Mutch. We then hoped on Wilshere and didn't get him for whatever reason but got Flamini who really didn't play till December.
