We have some wonderful players but the lack of squad depth and the fact that we have had a bad start, makes it look like a relegation struggle this year.

Good window I think. Midfield perhaps could've been strengthened but Lee seems to have upped his game and Puncheon seems to be playing better dropping a bit deeper, Cabaye can be better than he has been last 6 months and we always get a shift from Jimmy Mac. Up to the squad now to gel and keep the ball on the deck whilst carving opportunities for a strike force that on paper rivals the top 6 in the league now. C'mon Palace, South London and proud.

Looks like we won't get the mid we want, but what we have looks capable if the second half of last week is anything to go by. I think I read 20+ chances (?) so the boys know they need to get the crosses in. I think with guys like Lee, Williams, Fryers and some youngsters all making serious bids we'll do ok. They need to go out there each week knowing that they MUST aim to deliver 10+ serious chances for strikers per match. That's how I'd approach it. 5 per half besides shots at goal from non-strikers. I think our boys can do it.
