On a few occasions I have driven through Dunstable on my way to Milton Keynes and the outskirts.The part of Dunstable that I drive through is certainly not the most salubrious of places. Edited by Willo (07 Sep 2016 8.22am)

Have you driven between the south coast and Crawley/Gatwick on the A24 / A264 ?

Bombed in WWII so rebuilt with unattractive architecture next 2 decades after.
