Some classic lines from super AL - 'We have done well away from home, it is the home form that worries me' WTF!!! Sorry Alan, we have been s*** wherever we have played since January!!! Also - 'We are bringing along young Jonathan Benteke with us' 'young strikers are hard to come by' 'it was his brother Christian that pointed him out to us' Bloody hell!!! Really!!! I'm sorry to have to say it, but thank you Alan and goodbye!!!!

No one would ever hire Pardew to be their spokesman - fortunately. But managers speaking s***e is hardly a new thing.

I really hope Big Ben and little Ben get a chance to play together, honestly I know it's not the same but I'm sh*t but whenever I play for my brothers team both of whom are decent, I seem to do okay!

Fingers crossed

Very true, in the Premier League:

We had Holloway talking absolute nonsense in a comedy accent
We had Pulis talking about Palace like they were merely an employer
We had Warnock constantly spout the same tripe every week (I still do like him, but he did talk some rubbish especially that boring cliche about Bolasie not even knowing what he'd do next)

And we're worried about Pardew's crap conferences?

Are you suggesting that he's not really Benteke's brother?

With Remy out and Campbell injured, that leaves the bench striker choices as Wickham (if he doesn't start), Little Ben, and Kwesi (if he's fit --I don't think he got any preseason games).

So yeah, Wickhma first sub, but if we end up chasing the game, why not little ben and hope for some fraternal chemistry, or beginners luck. I would take either.

I can beat that one. We could've had Al-Saadi playing for Palace:

SP and the board have backed Pardew to the hilt in the window and in a results driven business, it is now time to deliver, which I am supremely confident a good run of form will follow in the coming weeks, as the new squad begin to gel.
Pardew is second favourite for the sack this season and clearly, is under tremendous pressure.
Time for us all to give him our total support as in our best interests for him to be a success this season.

Benteke Snr signed for us on 20th August whereas his younger brother had already been released by his Belgian club so I stand by my earlier comment that I doubt whether Pardew has actually seen him play competitive football.

Appiah has scored quite a few goals in previous seasons when we have loaned him out to lower league clubs whereas Benteke Jnr only managed 2 goals for his previous club in 21 appearances so I sincerely hope that if more strike power is needed it's Wickham first followed by Appiah then Benteke last of all - that is if Pardew actually names three strikers on the bench
