I am not ashamed to reveal that I have worn them .I have a photograph of me with white shoes, trousers of that colour and a Panama hat.

Very common here in the countryside (and perfectly acceptable in polite society).

NEVER!
(unfortunately I did own a pair of black leather trousers for several years, late 70's/early 80s, which I suspect may have contributed to my strip search at Gatwick airport )

I live near Sandhurst royal military academy and young men in offensive coloured trousers is very common place, they stand out a mile against all the chav's and "Tap out" wearing bell ends who live round this part of the world. What is funny though is a trip to Tesco's at induction time, many of them have to buy ironing board's so you get herds of them walking around with long sleeved shirts Brown shoes and odd coloured trousers with ironing board under their arms looking like surf dudes from a parallel universe. Bloody odd but funny.

There must be a market for them which means there are far more twa*s around than we imagined.
Who'd want to be recorded wearing such a weird garment's beyond me...together with an ill-fitting donkey jacket, as some of these guys are proudly sporting, they shd be shot rather than the local foxes. Its for their own good.
