If we are going to have to pay legal costs just let a Kurdish military court deal with them next time. I would like to know the name of the firm of lawyers who took their case to the European Court.

I think they get it right most every time. I might not always like their decisions, but that's a separate issue.

A right in law, is established for everyone, and serves to protect their interests from those of the state. They belong to everyone by default or no one.

Even the c**ts. Its worth bearing in mind that these people didn't actually kill anyone, probably more by incompetence than by design. Their defence also was that they didn't intend to kill anyone (which I don't believe and the court rejected).

Under Henry VIII having 'treasonable thoughts' became an offence punishable by death - a precedence that would have been worthwhile bringing up in this case.
