Not really, its not time travel per se, but the effects of gravity on time (notably space-time). The faster you travel, the greater your mass becomes, with a singularity point when you achieve infinite mass, necessary to exceed the speed of light.

Because mass produces gravitational effects, the passing of time would slow down within that field, whilst proceeding normally outside that gravitation field.

So in effect you don't so much travel through time, but time travels slower around you.

The theory that exceeding the speed of light would create time travel isn't really a theory, its a proposition, because effectively the constant of the speed of light is a defining factor the laws of physics. Effectively its a 'singularity' point - because beyond that point - 'different laws apply' (the fact you'd need to exceed infinite mass suggests it would be a 'break in space-time'). Of course to achieve that would require infinite energy (itself a problem).

To me, it would suggest that even achieving the speed of light would effectively transform all existing energy in the universe into the state of matter (mass).

The exception is the Enstein-Rosen-Podolsky Bridge, which is a tunnel through 'the curve of space time'.

Too much speed taken with too many physicists = too much bollocks.

I'm afraid Google no longer exists in the future. It grew into an omnipotent global empire, then the power went to tits head and its embarked on a silly unwinnable pan galactic expansion and, as many Palace fans predicted on this very web site, it ended badly.

But I won't spoilt it for you

I see you wrote this at 10:14.

And yet I am reading it at 12:21.

What more evidence do you need?

And how do we know that you don't get to the start of time when you reach the end of it? Hmm. It is so like this website for people to be cynical about the OP.

In answer to the question: when I congratulated Richard Shaw and Salako in Allders (or is that Alders) for a good game and they BLANKED me
