looked like it deflected off the defenders boot in front of goal past Mandanda to be honest. Having said that, he didnt make a move for the first goal and it was only a few yards from him. Edited by twist (22 Oct 2016 4.27pm)

He's good with his feet, so rather than hoof it downfield which was the complaint Pardew seemed to have with Speroni, it means he can pass it to our defenders before they hoof it downfield. That said think he will turn out to be a decent signing. Main issue today seems that MacArthur is half the player with Cabaye in there.
