most people in performance related jobs would have been fired on the basis of the return in the second half of last season let alone the poor results this term, prior to today Burley had scored only eight all season and now that is ten thanks to AP tactics or lack of them, he has no idea!

half time 2-0 down, goalkeeper to blame for another goal, what is the matter with AP, he insists on playing attacking football when we can't defend and have a forward line that can't score, he spent more money than any other manager in the history of CP and yet some of us out there think we are having a great season and they are not worried!

Huge half an hour for Pardew. Get a point or even three and we'll be heading into the break on a high and with something to build on. Lose and suddenly it looks like 5 losses in a row and things very bleak.

Pardew is so arrogant......at least Ollie knew he was not up to it and admitted it. What excuses will Pardew have today ? Hes off on one of his famous streaks again !

that is it 3-2 loss at Burnley, credit where its due great fightback but should Burnley be allowed to score three against us, we can't win, the tactics have to be questioned and when we were at 2-2 with seconds left we still allowed Burnley to score the winner. What hope have we got now with Man City next? some of course will say we played well, but that is no good if we can't win or even hold on for a draw!

AP, will of course say, ''we played well, I was proud of my team today, they were unlucky etc, etc,'' this he has said many times before, how long before someone at CP tell him this is not good enough and show him the door 30 games since 1/1/16 and just 22 points, some will say last season does not matter but the trend is there and the writing is on the wall!

The thing about this league is that the team who scores the most goals doesn't always win the title but the team who concedes the most always goes down. That is 10 goals conceded in 3 games now and no clean sheets in 11 league games this season, absymal really.
