I wouldn't want to be in your shoes right now. Tough decision to make.

Personally I want v much to believe the whole 'transition' thing and get behind AP but giving away goals then trying to fight our way back into games is not sustainable.

You could kind of believe in it when we lost the odd goal through an error because last season we were in the s*** because we couldn't attack, we didn't have a decent striker and we had limited ways forward. That is much better now through the addition particularly of Benteke and also Townsend, and Zaha getting better and more direct. The thing is last season we didn't ship many goals either. With I think four exceptions we lost all those games by a single goal or drew them, and the only non-top half team that embarrassed us in defence was West Brom.

But when you're letting Sunderland score two, Leicester and Burnley three and Liverpool four you're asking too much of any strike force. We're seeing defensive performances like that first half against West Brom week in, week out.

Get rid. It's my personal opinion but I've seen nothing to persuade me he's going to turn this around, he looks like a lame duck. Need to get rid

Glad I'm not SP.
Thing is this squad should not be losing this frequently, IMO. There is no midfield shield it seems.

Thought he made inspired changes today ,
ALL our goals was down to lazy backpacking and loss of concentration
YES you could argue thats the mangers fault
But you do realize that if he was replaced it would be a Pulis / Allardyce type
Stick with him
The International break will do us good

4 straight defeats and based on past performance, doubt that we will get anything from the City game, which will be 5 in a row.
How can we believe AP can turn our form around as the statistics speak for themselves.

I think if we had a better 2016 for last season then I could accept that the last few games were a blip. The cup final appearance saved him I believe. However we are still losing and 5 wins out of the last 33 just isn't good enough. It's relegation form if read as one season. I can't see 2017 being any better with Pardew in charge. Mind you if he was then the championship may give him better results. But do we want our club going backwards to get more wins outside the prem. I know I don't. This squad if managed properly is good enough to have won 3 of our last 4 matches - not saying we would have, but we should have with better organisation - It's a thin line between winning and losing in the prem and every part of the team has to be at full strength. It won't always go in our favour but more than one mistake at the back per match will normally mean a defeat or a draw if we manage to nick a goal. There is no reason why we shouldn't be more entertaining and have a strong defence with the squad we have. I just can't see him turning it around. It's a reluctant out from me :-(

Part of the reason we're so hacked off is that Steve P urged us to be more aspirational and ambitious.

We were. We wanted to be chasing a Euro place not struggling (yet again) in relegation territory.

Does the coaching set-up need shaking up? Who's in charge of ensuring that we've got things right at the back?
