Agree that he came in and changed things when we were down and always grateful for that.

But his remarks last week that it's not like us to concede from set pieces were ridiculous and suggest that he's lazy.

Almost every game we're sh1t in the first half and only show any kind of purpose when we're chasing the game.

Don't see him putting the brakes on this and, as another poster has pointed out, the run in means that if this isn't fixed soon we're in trouble.

Room 101 style?

Sounds good to me.

I would end up being part of the firing squad you mean.

Ok. But as long as it's just the overly pc brigade lined up.

All these armchair tacticians. No wonder 2010 don't bother engaging on these boards any more.

My eight-year-old called it better than Pardew did today.

Thisvweek alone the footballing geniuses on this site have stated that Mandanda is a cross between manuel neuer and gordon banks. That AP is lucky to be a manager as he is totally bereft of talent. Conor wickham shouldnt be a footballer for the same reason as is wayne Hennessey. Sam Alardarse is the new pep gaurdiola. We should never have sold... anybody and i cant be arsed to go on. Touch of poetic licence but feck me people over react dont they.

Isn't that what boards like this are for? Or are we all supposed to agree with everything the manager and board do?

Sure, if the comments are well-informed and not knee-jerk, impotent spluttering which 95% of Palace Talk is. PT seems to be a vehicle for some people to shamelessly parade their idiocy.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Brilliant. You see? That's something I didn't even think of. We need lateral thinkers like you in The Movement.

Unfortunately for The Movement I would, of course, blindside it and turn my weapon on my superiors first before giving the pc brigade a chance to renounce their tw@tishness lest they end up in the same mass grave.

Doh! Me and my big gob.

I have no idea how to fix us, in no small part because I can't figure out what is wrong. What I do know is that I trust SP & the rest of the consortium to get this right in the end. I know in the end we really only care about the results on the pitch but we can't ignore the fact that we are fiscally sound now and that's largely due to the ownership. I'll back whatever they decide. (and in case you think I'm a cringing yes-man, I live in Toronto and follow tfc, a team under probably the worst management on the planet, although it does seem to be less bad than usual now, but still it is nice to support a team that has a management structure I can respect). Wow... sorry for the run on sentence.

I'm with you on this one. Get shot of this joker, I cant think of one player who has improved under Pardew's tenure....
