True but screaming for the managers head, without a thought to the reality of that, isn’t really debating.

In the unlikely event that we get a result tomorrow, these comments will melt away which shows how reactionary they are.

The only 'screaming' I've read has come from the pro-Pardew lobby and their ostrich-like refusal to accept the obvious. On the other hand, there have been some extremely cogent arguments, backed by some facts that are as plain as day, as to why, if he continues on his current course, Pardew will relegate us.

A laboured & pointless question by the Pro Pardew fans ... change the record eh!

Pretty pertinent though. The sad fact is if Pardew does get his cards Chris Coleman is most likely to get the job. Frying pans and fires spring to mind...

Well I suppose I’m in the pro-Pardew camp (not that I've ever particularly liked the bloke) but it’s obvious he’s on borrowed time if results don’t improve.

It’s this Geordie style picking choosing stats to exaggerate the point I can’t stand. Under Pardew we’ve finished 10th, 15th and currently sit 16th. For a club that until this spell had never survived in the Premier League, it’s not that bad.

beastie we might of finished 15 last year but we were around 4th at Christmas, and have been in freefall ever since, Pardew has had a year to resolve the situation and has shown no sign of improvement in our results (and that's what counts) He just comes up with one excuse after another, are we really saying for a new slightly different style of play it takes highly paid players months to adjust, pre season started in june, 6 months into this new era with no real improvement just different excuses, He goes of we go down

Exactly mate. Thing is the pro-Pardew camp just wanna forget the 1st 5 months of 2016 as it's 'irrelevant' apparently!!! Even tho we have a lot of the same problems albeit with a few different players now. And they won't be told different either cos we're all in the wrong for looking at the bigger picture! League form doesn't contribute to relegation if you listen to them ...

Let's speak again on Monday when we've got nothing 'again' from a league fixture

Nobody really expects us to win this game and a draw would be a good result. If we lose, as expected, and we lose at Swansea then the alarm bells will ring even louder and the "Anti-Pardew" brigade will really be venting their spleen.

Kaos i totally agree with the sentiments of your comment

Willo, You must admit the situation is now a must win most games now until we get out of this situation, I will be there as normal convincing myself we can win this one, And getting more and more frustrated as games & weeks go on. I just cant see someone who cant admit any of this is his fault keeping us up, IMO He (Pardew) is the problem I think at least 9 other prem managers would like our squad at there disposal, I also disagree with the comment reference our players being mostly Championship quality

Really ?

Just consider our strike force : Apart from Benteke, we have Wickham with his injury woes, Remy hasn't played for us due to injury and then we have Campbell whose hardly "Pulled up any trees". Also Anderson, Ladapo and Jonathan Benteke none of whom have PL experience.

In defence : We don't have an adequate natural Left-Back as backup to Souare, Delaney is now 35, the "Jury is out" on Tomkins etc etc

In midfield :
Sako hasn't proved himself in the PL, neither has Mutch, Chung-Young Lee, Flamini hasn't featured at all and Ledley appears to have seen better days at this level etc etc. Puncheon is now 30 and hasn't stamped his authority in games this season.

I'm not interested in other squads. All I am doing is giving you my humble opinion on our squad.Yes there are some very good players but overall it is perhaps not as good as many would believe.Just my opinion !

Spot on Willo, old bean. I wouldn't think our squad would be good enough to win The Championship were it in it this season.
