What it highlights yet again is we despratEly need a leader on the pitch. Was watching a programme the other day about the great real Madrid team who won 5 European cups on the trot. One of their players said they had leaders all over the pitch, at the back, in midfield and up front. He said you don't win anything with just one leader....so what chance have we got...

I did say the game went to his plan of not worrying about clean sheets and being entertaining.

That defensive performance today was one of the most shambolic displays i have ever seen and believe me I've seen a few!!

The team looks totally lost, no organisation, no stamina, no leadership, no clue!!

Get Cookie in now!!!

Was wondering where the clown at my local circus went to ?

The worry is who is the leader at the back ? If nobody is wishing/willing to be then who is getting to grip with the situation and producing at least some organisation ? There seems to be a total lack of this at the moment.

Have stayed so patient for a number of weeks now, always trying to find the positives. Only positives being that we've been scoring goals again and that the majority of the players do seem to be playing for him.

But I also feel today has been a step too far.

Don't feel he's lost the dressing room, fallen out with the fans or top brass. It just looks like he doesn't know how to keep a team disciplined in their shape for any length of time, which means we concede from everywhere.

This 'score one more than you' brand of football is proving way too high risk and not paying off. This can't be the new brand of football we were promised can it? I can't believe parish sat down and said "right Al, sit down son. What I would love is if we could abandon all our defensive discipline to the point where we're conceding 5 away to Swansea by December. Can you promise me that?"
